Grass: 

• Mowing with Krone Big M II S.P Mower

• 9.6 cutting width

• 60:40 weight distribution for less compaction

• Teddering with Claas Volto 800

• Raking with Claas 2900

 Wholecrop:

• We use a Claas 610 Direct Cut Disc Header and Wholecrop Mill which operates leaving stubble to a desired height and ensuring grains are split to maximise digestion

 Maize:

• We use a Claas Orbis 750m maize header with ground contour tracking and row guidance which increases crop quality and ensures even and tidy stubble

• Chop length generally 19mm for dairy down to 5mm for biogas

Field to Clamp:

• Trailers between 12 and 16 tonne capacity depending on accessibility

• All with flotation tyres

• Clamp work with JCB416S with push off buck rake for even layering and better compaction
